Leeds comes to life at night.



Like many cities, Leeds can be divided into various quarters "the Northern Quarter, the Corn Exchange and the two universities " each home to a range of venues that make a great night.



The city is just filled to bursting with great places to eat, with options ranging from cafes to exquisite restaurants for fine dining, all within easy reach.



Leeds is well known for good nights out. As well as the usual high street suspects, the city has a fantastic array of independent bars and clubs.



Leeds is a cultural city. It hosts the Leeds International Pianoforte Competition and the Leeds International Film Festival. Outstanding productions and performances are showcased at venues such as The West Yorkshire Playhouse and Leeds Town Hall. It is the only city outside London to have both its own opera and ballet companies " the internationally acclaimed Opera North and Northern Ballet.
